Clara's miracle
Bruce came home Saturday morning very shaken. He was at Jamie's early Saturday morning. The kids were playing outside and he was helping Clara as she rode her motorized scooter. She got tired so he and Jamie started walking back to the house with Clara by his side. So they thought. We assume that Clara saw the neighbors dog in the road and went to pet her. A young man was driving a car very slowly because he saw the dog but he didn't see Clara. Jamie and Bruce heard loud screams. Clara had been hit by the car and was underneath on the pavement between the tires. Bruce hurried and pulled her out. The tires had not touched her at all and miraculously all she had were these scratches. We are so grateful the young man was driving so slow. He felt so bad and apologized. Jamie thanked him for driving so slowly. We have been hugging and kissing Clara even more this weekend. We are so grateful her guardian angels were watching over her.
